c++ – How one can calculate geometry time period from “Multi-Scale International Illumination in Quantum Break”?


In presentation “Multi-Scale International Illumination in Quantum Break” from SIGGRAPH 2015, on slide 105, they current idea of geometry time period, which is used to assist with mild leaks in quantity interpolation. How does it work precisely?

In typical trilinear interpolation, I interpolate 4 occasions in X course, then 2 occasions in Z course, and eventually 1 time in Y course.

Proper now, to use geometry time period, I calculate geometry weights for all 8 quantity factors and multiply interpolation weights (delta x,y,z) at first step of interpolation (X course interpolation), but it surely doesnt appear to be right.
